California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) is a non-profit organization of 190 elementary, middle and secondary schools in California. The Association serves and strengthens its schools by setting standards of academic quality and ethical conduct, by providing for the professional growth of faculty, administrators, and trustees, and by promoting ethnic and socio-economic diversity.
National Association of Episcopal Schools, (NAES), an independently incorporated, voluntary membership organization, supports, serves, and advocates for the vital work and ministry of those who serve over 1,200 schools, Early Childhood Education programs, school establishment efforts, and their sponsoring institutions throughout The Episcopal Church.
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. The Association provides assistance to schools located in California, Hawaii, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Fiji, and East Asia.
National Association of Independent Schools, governed by a board of trustees and staffed by approximately 40 individuals, is a membership organization and the national voice of independent education. NAIS represents approximately 1,400 independent schools and associations in the United States, and affiliates with independent schools abroad as well. We offer a broad variety of services and products.
The Commission on Episcopal schools in the Diocese of Los Angeles currently serves approximately 9,600 children whose racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds reflect the exciting diversity of Southern California. The Commission on Schools continues its work of encouraging and fostering a strong Episcopal identity within and among the Episcopal schools in the diocese. |
